Montenegro is definitely on of the
most interesting countries in the world, between other things,
because it s cultural area was formed through centuries by the
influence of the civilizations from the East and the West.
This small country,
which covers 14000 square km, is characterized by its multicultural
and multiconfessional society, but at the same time, understanding
and tolerance which lasts for centuries among all communities.
The largest part
of citizens is orthodox christians, then muslims and catholics.
The religious
buildings in Montenegro are, no matter to which community they
belong, very attractive for all tourists because, besides that they
hide interesting stories and legends, they represent architectural
masterpieces, and for their construction, usually the best and the
most attractive places were chosen in the towns and in their
surroundings.
